I don’t have previous experience with Somatic exercise or Yoga, can I still take the course?
Yes! These are exercises that focus on reconnecting and healing the nervous system. They are gentle and soothing. ANYONE can take this course and feel change !
I have anxiety, childhood trauma,ADHD, etc. does this course benefit me?
yes! Somatic movement is helping you reestablish the connection between the brain and body, essentially rewiring your nervous system. You can do this practice anytime anywhere for the rest of your life! As a person growing up with ADHD coupled with anxiety, these movements have been a game changer in my self care routine. You will feel at ease and balanced at the end of each session.
Are the courses safe if i’m healing from injury?
Yes, Somatic Yoga is gentle and effective for helping the body heal and reconnect. Most Physical Therapist recommend Somatics/Yoga post-injury and post-surgery. You can take these exercises with you for the rest of your life.
